"Today is the same as yesterday was like tomorrow will be..."

     I'm crossing my fingers for a better year ahead. 2010 fucking sucked! Quite a few bad, ugly and unpleasant things happened this past year, and I can't imagine it being much worse... Nowhere to go but up.

     Mid-term elections are over. We've been listening to a certain political party bitch and moan for months and months about everything the other political party has done. No viable alternatives have been offered. Actually, no alternatives at all... If the republicans and their parasitic twin, the tea party have answers to our collective ills, it is time for them to put up or shut up. I did not vote any of the currently or soon to be seated into office, but I sure am tired of hearing how they all claim to speak for me. If that were true, I'd have voted for them. The candidates with the most rational ideas have been the ones that are ignored or shunned by the general population.

     We as a nation seem to have ADD, and think we can shift political power every election cycle and see results. That is not going to happen! It's time to understand that this country is best served by multiple party influences. Each political party has it's good and bad ideas. If this country could just recognize that and draw from each, we would be in better shape.
